In this article, we will tell you what the different types of trees symbolize, how wooden items are made, and in what package you will receive them from our studio. This will help you choose the most suitable ones for you or for the person you want to give them to.
CONTENTS
We start with the symbolism of the wood that is best-liked by our clients.
Walnut. There are legends about it. It is believed that, in Ancient Greece, the walnut fruit was the food of the gods. The Hellenes believed that it brought happiness and personified fertility. There is a belief that when a young family regularly consumes walnuts, more boys are born. And, according to Saint Augustine, the walnut is a symbol of Jesus Christ.
Cherry. It symbolizes love and harmony in the family. Its fruit, besides being tasty, is also beneficial for the body. In the past, cherries were believed to be a panacea for many diseases. The homeland of the cherry tree is China. In the 1st century AD, the Romans attacked an Asian port. There, their commander saw a cherry blossom for the first time. He was so impressed by its beauty that he took a cherry sapling as a gift to his emperor.
Oak. It symbolizes resilience, goodness and truth. It is believed that oak sharpens a person's intuition and connection with their soul, thus helping them make the right decisions. In the cultures of many peoples, the oak tree symbolizes mother earth and is therefore considered sacred.
Sycamore. In Bulgarian folklore, it symbolizes male strength. According to old legends, the sycamore tree protects against evil forces and natural disasters. They planted it in holy places because it could ward off all evil. A beautiful white-wood tree.
Wenge. Its homeland is West Africa. Wenge is a very expensive type of wood. Its core is thick and heavy, with an unusual dark-brown colour of the texture, with reddish or yellowish shades, and black stripes. Its processing is very difficult, requires precision and a high level of concentration.
All types of wood are beautiful and each has its own spiritual benefits, it is important to choose the one you like the best.
Coincidentally or not, our acquaintance with master-woodcarvers played an important role in this.
Impressed by the beauty and shapes of their works, we decided to include wood in the making of our products and combine it with precious metals. It was a real challenge – to connect the living wood, which changes with the humidity of the air, with the hard and cold metals.
The wood we work with comes with a quality certificate. It ensures that the policy is followed to avoid trade in illegal logging, timber from protected areas and from places where traditional and civil fundamental rights are violated.
The wood comes in different-sized logs. They are pre-treated, dried in chambers and dewormed. We check the humidity with a hygrometer on site. If necessary, the material is left for some time to dry further, so that its moisture is within the norms.
When all the indicators are within the limits of the requirements, the actual preparation for its processing begins.
We cut the slabs into rectangles of the size needed to make the relevant item. Then we glue the cut pieces together. To avoid tension in the wood, we leave the glued details for two or three days, so the fine veins can relax. The next stage is to cut them into cylinders. After this treatment, we leave them again for a few days, for additional relaxation, and only then, we turn them into the desired shapes. The process is long, but this way of working protects the wood from future cracking.
We finish the wooden details with numerous manual operations. The surface must be smooth and without any irregularities.
The final operations are staining, priming and varnishing. We make them with water-based materials, which are certified by their manufacturers for their safety.
While we wait for the additional drying of the wood between individual operations, we prepare the metal parts to which we will add the already-finished wooden elements. Metal is processed in a completely different way than wood. Fitting individual details is an important and complex process. The clearances that we must leave between the two materials are very important so that the wood does not crack or loosen. We combine the exotic wood with silver, gold or copper.
One of the most difficult models to make in this category is the wooden jug. Its shape is complex, we make it from several parts. The inner part is made of copper. After all the treatments, this metal part is 24K gold plated. The pre-made wooden parts are placed on it and are attached to the container. We could use silver instead of copper.
The already-assembled and finished product undergoes a final check before being placed in a luxury box.
When creating these exotic wood-and-metal models, we thought long and hard about every element, every shape and curve. The height and diameter of the cups are important so that the aroma of the drink can be best felt. We also wanted them to feel heavy and stable in the hand.
We know what emotions unwrapping a gift brings, how important all the little details are and how they increase the excitement with the surprise. Therefore, each of our products is placed in a luxury box, which also contains a certificate with a description of the product and a leaflet with photos and information about some of our other products. When a client receives their order at our studio, we add a beautiful gift bag to the box. You receive your present ready to go.
To make the effect of the present even stronger, we offer you a luxury brass plaque on which we can write your message to the recipient. This additional touch helps you personalise your gift.
Our works are not ordinary objects. They arouse joy and admiration in their owners. When we create them, we put our hearts and souls into them, our skills and professionalism. Our goal is to create a beautiful and useful item that is unique and brings great excitement to you and the person you will please.
You leave a unique emotional memory with the people to whom you give our products. They will remember your gesture.

A client asked us once, ‘Which wooden whiskey cup should I choose? You have various types of wood, colour and metal - silver or gold plating. Which combination would be best for me?’ The answer depends on many factors: what wood you like, what colour would fit best to the setting in which the cup will be, etc. etc.
Walnut is a broadleaf tree widely distributed in the Balkans. Whiskey cups made of walnut have a rich, dark colour and a smooth texture that feels comfortable in the hand. The combination of materials, the warm and natural beauty of the walnut and the soft shine of the gold, attracts attention, magically enhancing the aesthetic, adding a touch of luxury and sophistication.
Cherry whiskey cups have a warm, inviting look and are often used for special occasions. The combination with gold or silver accents completes the aesthetics of the wood.
The preference of the colours and the wood from which the cups are made depends on our current mood. Just like listening to music or our desire to go out and meet friends or stay at home with our favourite drink depends on our current state of mind.

It is interesting and remarkable how much history and how many artifacts there are in a territory as small as Bulgaria. During each excavation, archaeologists find a piece of the life of our ancestors. We are a nation with a rich past, and that is priceless. All these discoveries made by archaeologists are changing scientists' perceptions of the oldest centers of human civilization. The historical artifacts prove that a civilization flourished on the territory of Bulgaria long before the Hellenic one. A culture existed which created items of high artistic value.
‘There are two very real reasons to buy business gifts that are not necessarily warm and fuzzy. One is obviously to thank someone for their business for the year. The other is to make sure you remain top of mind, and to get your name in front.’
The Rogozen Treasure was accidentally discovered in 1986 in the village of Rogozen, located in Northwestern Bulgaria near the city of Vratsa.
Easter customs are highly cherished among Christians worldwide, and one of them is associated with eggs. The origin of this tradition is uncertain. Some say that the custom of colouring and giving eggs dates back to Ancient Egypt, Persia, Rome, China, and Greece.
To create a unique emotion for your nearest and dearest or to reward your business partner, the desire to leave something for your children, for their children, even for people in hundreds of years, is an irreplaceable feeling and a strong motivation.
If you have the chance to visit the museum in Vratsa, you will come upon an incredible sight: dozens of small dishes, placed in special chambers, as if telling you their own story. Their splendid detail sparkles in the dark, and we can only marvel at how they were made by the ancient craftsmen
Did you know that there are people who prefer their name days to their birthdays? Our name day symbolizes the energy that is encoded in our name. It is part of our individuality and, like the birthday, defines us in the world. Even if we regard this day as a celebration of many people with the same name, it is also an occasion to unite with them and experience a common emotion of the positive energy and good wishes we receive. When choosing a name day present, you need to bear in mind the following....
