What is the beer mug made of, and how?

 

Its manufacture takes time. Solid wood is made of high quality dried and impregnated material. The wood is cut into slats and then it needs to be allowed to loosen before glueing and processing. Thus it is prevented from cracking. The wood undergoes a number of processes, then it is stained and varnished with harmless and natural materials.

The container, or in other words, the inner metal part of the mug, is made of copper sheet by drawing. After its final processing, grinding and polishing, we gild it with 24K gold.

The last stage is to put all the elements together. This is the most important operation. Wood is a living material, it shrinks and expands depending on humidity and environmental temperature, while the metal is cold and hard; it does not change. All parts must be made with precision in order to be joined well.
